Chemigram

We had a chemigram workshop in the college this year. I am a huge fan of chemigram, and I enjoyed this refresher on how to do it. I hope to do more next semester!
We used butter, vegetable oil, and wax for resists.

These are the three pieces I created:

Spatial Studies pieces

"Because of you I find it hard to trust not only me but everyone around me," lyrics by Kelly Clarkson, Because Of You.
Wrote 'WHY?' on the back of my lovely model Anna Gardiner with eyeliner, projected the above lyrics onto her, photographed it, and then projected the photos onto a wall I'd written 'WHY?' on, and photographed that.

FRAGILE Exhibition Photographs

Here are photo's from my FRAGILE exhibition.

A photo of the exhibition.

Monoprints with FRAGILE tape.

Monoprints.

Monoprints with gold pen.

Monoprinted backgrounds with chalk and charcoal.

Two framed monoprints with the comments book.

The poster I made for my exhibition at our local Blide Trust! I realised afterwards that I probably should have put the address of Blide Trust down as some people didn't know where it was, but for one of my first posters I'm rather pleased with myself!
